I’ve never heard of a ‘home finder’. Why should I pay you to find me a property when I could do it myself?

Home finding is a relatively new but growing business in the UK, but has been in existence for many years in the US where it is common practice to use a buying agent. This recognises the fact that unlike sellers, who are professionally represented by estate agents, buyers have largely been left to look after themselves to make one of the most important financial and emotional decisions of their lives.

By employing a professional home finder to help you search and secure your perfect property you can save time, money and a great deal of hassle. Through our extensive network of contacts (estate agents, property developers, letting agents and private individuals) we have access to the best properties out there, including ‘off-market’ properties that are being marketed discreetly and you are unlikely to ever hear about.

Are you affiliated with any estate agents or other parties that may have an invested interest?

No, we are completely independent. We work for you, the buyer and are not affiliated to any estate and letting agents whose job it is to represent the seller/landlord. We represent your interests only and offer completely impartial advice. Through a large network of estate agents/letting agents and contacts we search and find the right property for you. We don’t compete in any way with estate agents, indeed they see us as valued partners who represent committed buyers.

How can you save me money?

Our market knowledge means we know the real value of any given property. We use this knowledge together with our experience and expertise in negotiating to get you the best possible deal, whether you are buying or renting, which often offsets our fee.

What kind of properties do you search for?

We search for all types of properties in different price brackets, from large family homes in the country to city centre apartments. Our service includes buying and rental searches. Whatever type of property you’re looking for, our aim is always to find you the best that’s available in your price range. How do I know that the properties you show me will be what I’m looking for?

We listen carefully to your individual property and lifestyle requirements to understand exactly what you are looking for. This forms the basis for the search brief which we agree with you. We preview all properties before we show them to you, ensuring that you only view those which match the agreed search brief.

One of our biggest concerns is that when we move our children will have to change schools. Can you help us select the right school for them?

Yes. We are extremely knowledgeable about the schools in our area and are able to offer help and support.  We offer a full school search service which includes accompanied school visits if required.

We are relocating from abroad, can you help?

We’d be delighted to. We’re experienced in helping individuals and families relocate from many different countries and offer a range of services tailored to your specific needs – from area familiarisation tours to settling-in services.

How much do you charge ?

We believe we provide our clients with a cost-effective service that represents genuine value for money. Our aim is always to make our service pay for itself through skilled negotiation. When is the best time to start working with you?
